Junior Youth Group - STEEMY Jr. (4th-7th grade)

• Temple Emanu-El Religious School Youth Group serves our students in 4th through 7th grades. The Junior Youth Group mainly has events after religious school on Sundays as a way to promote socializing, bonding, and introduce the culture of Youth Group to encourage lasting relationships beyond Bnei Mitzvah age. Youth group events include fun activities such as cupcake decorating competition, mini golf, bowling and more! We also do Mitzvah projects such as packing food for the food bank. Temple Emanu-El Religious School Youth Group affords our students the opportunity to expand their friendships beyond the school hours.

STEEMY  (8th-12th grade)

• We are excited to have our own NFTY-affiliated youth group.  In addition to activities at temple and local fun spots, we will participate in regional events with Jewish teens from around the state. STEEMY, Sarasota Temple Emanu-El Youth, is teen-led. 8th-12th graders will gain valuable leadership skills by planning, promoting and executing events. We value providing Jewish experiences to teens after their confirmation years. STEEMY is a place to stay connected with their temple, Religious School classmates, and make new friends too! Teens can build their resumes with Mitzvah projects and board positions which are also eligible for school-required volunteer hours.
